Kellie's friend Emma wrote Kellie a beautiful letter when she was first diagnosed with leukaemia and this is a poem that was within that letter and Kellie would like to share it with you.

To My Friend

No one really knows what kind of bond we share,

And even if we told them they probably wouldn't care.

You are very dear to me I hope you know it's true

And now that you are sick, tell, what can I do?

While you've been gone a part of me has been lost

But then I realise, it's you, not me who is paying the cost.

I spent a few days at school alone and my weekend was such a bore,

A lot of my time was spent in my room just thinking of you more,

And now I make this vow to you to keep until the end,

I'll help you through the pain and tears until our rivers bend.

So if you ever need someone, you know just who to call,

I'll be here by the telephone to catch you when you fall.

Kellie's favourite sayings:

Everyone asks:  "Kell, how do you feel?"

   Usual Answer:  "NOT TOO BAD."

"If life gives you lemons - ask for the tequila and salt"

"May the fleas of a thousand camels invade the crotch of the person who screws up your day and may their arms be too short to scratch." Thanks to Aunty Sue Muttdon for this one.
